About Allan
Allan Rosenberg has been at the forefront of commercial photography for decades from his studio in San Francisco. Shooting national ads for food and wine clients, products, people, and automobiles as well as over 100 hundred cookbooks for companies like Williams Sonoma. Along the way he contributed to Automobile Magazine shooting new cars, rallies and Formula 1 for three years and Road & Track where he was involved in new car launches, road tests, private collections and meeting the directors at Ruf, Ferrari, Porsche and Mercedes Benz. He covered the very first Monterey Historic races and every one since. He drove in and covered many Mille Miglia’s, the inaugural Goodwood event, drove in one, and the Monaco Historic.
He raced his own O.S.C.A. MT4, 2 D-type Jaguars, 2 Testa Rossa’s a Mercedes Lightweight Gull-wing in three Tour Auto’s. In other events he has driven a Ferrari 500-TRC, 2 GTO’s and several 4 cam Porsches and other great motorcars. Allan has enjoyed a priceless combination of opportunities which have yielded a unique archive of beauty and speed.
He has had one man shows in St. Moritz Switzerland, and Carmel, California.
