About Denny
I have been a “car guy” since an early age, encouraged by my father and older brother. My first real camera was a Pentax Spotmatic that I bought during my tour in Vietnam. It soon became apparent to me that joining together my interest in cars and photography made good sense.
I had the opportunity to attend the Monterey Historic Races and the Pebble Beach Concours in 1974 and have returned every year since. I have been fortunate to photograph everything from old Ferrari race cars to classic Duesenbergs. Although my photos are derived from other vintage races and car shows, these two Monterey events are the source of most of my favorite photos as seen here.
I have come to primarily enjoy shooting close up photos of these cars with a telephoto lens to capture the many interesting details, from Lalique crystal mascots to exotic engines.
At the present time, I do not have a personal website. I sell my photos at shops in Nebraska and California and give presentations to various car clubs and interest groups. I hope that you enjoy this work.
